Calculator data and browser storage
Weight, stair count and riser height are calculated locally, not intentionally sent to our servers or stored in a site database. Browser history state retains your calculation. Language switching temporarily uses sessionStorage and may carry state in a URL fragment, which is removed on arrival; fragments are not part of HTTP requests. The app does not use localStorage. Share and Copy Link remove input state and share only the page URL.
Hosting and analytics
Cloudflare Pages serves the site and may process IP addresses, request times, URLs and browser information for delivery, security and logs. Cloudflare Web Analytics measures page views and performance without analytics cookies; its beacon sends page and technical performance information, not calculator field values. These hosting and analytics processes are separate from the local calculation.
Google AdSense preparation
The Google AdSense connection script is installed for site review. Ad requests are paused before the script loads, and the three prepared ad placements are collapsed while the site is awaiting approval. The script contacts Google and may read existing Google cookies; paused requests do not set new advertising cookies or use existing cookie data for ad serving or measurement. Calculator inputs are not added to the ad code or shared page links. Before serving ads, this policy and the required consent controls will be reviewed. Google’s privacy practices and browser cookie settings also apply.
Your choices, contact and updates
You can clear browser site data or close the tab to remove temporary session storage. Emailing the published contact sends your message and address through your email provider and the recipient’s mail service; do not include sensitive health information. For privacy questions use Contact. This policy will be updated if functionality or data practices change.
